See You on the Internet Somewhere
At the end of the #EME6414 experience, I have enjoyed meeting my classmates and working with two great instructors. This is one of the few courses in my program where we are allowed to be people: flawed, imperfect, trying. We learn without the stuffiness of trying to impress. Perhaps Web 2.0 is so cutting edge and the networks we cover change as fast as we can study them.
Seriously. I haven't blogged about the metaverse because I can't wrap my brain around it. Only to say I feel like we've been preparing for it in shades. Filters on our pictures, Snap augments that change video, voice alterations, and these robust Internet personas...avatars feel like an easy shift.
I am a proud child of the Internet: I'll still be here. If you want to connect with me on the personal side, I'm @trueirievibez on Instagram and Twitter. I will keep my other Instagram account active. It's "fit by forty or else." It's up until I have visible abs. Period.
As for blogging, I have a personal blog (I may have mentioned it). After my Master's degree is done, I dream of using it weekly to share my thoughts. This blog could continue as a professional side...I'll consider it after this summer break.
Also, if I get my act together, I can actually launch this podcast I started for my Toastmasters project. That is also TBD. Rest is important so I can't fully commit right now on a timeline.
But for now, I can't say goodbye. I'm not blocking or muting any one of you - we go together! To my FSU massive and crew, I wish you the best in your learning journey. May your Canvas load flawlessly and your group project mates respond within minutes. Borrowing a phrase from a favorite YouTuber, Evelyn from the Internets, I'll see you on the Internet somewhere.
*tear* sad to see the last eme6414 post by you. will surely be following your other accounts! stay on the tweetsphere!
